Close this page                                                   Technical Requirements and Information                                                         The major component of the MyCoverGraphicsKit is a set of over 200 Templates. These are      supplied as .jpg files and so can be used in any program that will open .jpg files, however they      are not  easy to complete with text without a graphics program that will perform Perspective      transformations of graphic images. For this reason a free program with that capability is made      available for download.        The Templates are compatible with Adobe Photoshop but no tutorials for that      application are given at this time, though they may be added at some future time.      The Graphics Program that is supplied free with the Templates is made for Windows and there       are several versions on offer for older and newer computers.       There is a version of the Graphics program available for Mac computers but it is not supplied       with the Kit downloads and buyers who wish to use it must undertake to obtain it for themselves.       Tutorials come as PDF files which can be viewed on either  PC or Mac.       The space used by downloads can vary greatly depending on the options chosen.        The Kit downloads are approximately 20 Mb but installed with backup may require twice that        much.       The free graphics program may require that much again.       Total installed after unpacking ZIP files - as much as 60 Mb.  Buyers are advised however        to burn all download ZIP files to a CD or other storage after which about half of that space        requirement could be freed up by deleting download ZIPS after installation.                                                             Note About Free Program        The program mentioned above and on the front page is The GIMP. It is an open source        program which can be given away subject to a special license, the terms of which have been        adhered to by the MyCoverGraphicsKit Program creator.  No charge is made for The GIMP                  or the tutorials that teach how to use it to complete the ready-made templates.        The only thing buyers purchase is a license to use the templates and tutorials for life. They can              use them in any way they like except for selling the blanks which remain the copyright property        of their maker Don Morrison. You will receive a written license with the complete terms and                    conditions in the downloads.             There are no resell rights whatsoever with this product however it is easy to sign up as an       affiliate and sell it for a 50% commission.
