  Alright - I'll stop beating around the bush! Obviously the covers ARE REAL (Well at least they're as real as Virtual Covers are ever likely to get) and the samples shown above are actually less than 10% of the total number of templates in this collection, which I have called - as you would have noticed above... 
I called it this because originally I started making templates to use for my own eBooks. After researching all the ways I could find of completing the templates with added text and images in correct perspective I found one particular software program that gave me great results. I'll tell you more about this amazing software in just a minute... Here are some of the eBook Covers I made with this method.    
as these for a guide, that aspect of making cover images can be extremely difficult. You can see evidence of this all over the Internet, strange distorted box covers, eBooks that look as though they have been left out in the rain, with text at odd angles and so on. 
Now I'm not into rubbishing something for no good reason but have a look at the eBook cover shown on the left. This is copied from an actual ad on the Internet. I have covered up the original text to keep it anonymous. Surely almost anyone could tell that this picture is drawn with the perspective completely back to front. It doesn't take special training to tell that does it? Yet I have a folder full of those "Push the button and it's done" programs that claim to produce professional quality cover graphics and when you try them out this is the sort of thing you get - it would be laughable except that ripping people off is not funny! I'm sure most people would know a realistic picture of a book when they see one, even if they couldn't draw it on a sheet of 00000000000000000 00 paper themselves, because that's a skill that for most people has to be learned, which is understandable - no problem there. 
As you can probably tell the lower red book is similar to the top one - because I made it that way, except that I followed the proper laws of perspective. Now the technical side of accurately drawing a three dimensional object in two dimensions is none too simple for a beginner but the general principle involved is not very hard to follow. It works like this- In a 2 dimensional drawing the part closest to you looks bigger than the part at the back - I'm sure you know that - and the further away anything is, the smaller it looks. Not too hard to understand? What I do find hard to understand is why on earth anyone would go to all the trouble of producing an original product and then promote it with a cover image as poorly done as the first red book above. I guess the reason is that they felt they had no alternative, - they probably couldn't afford Photoshop, and they didn't want to pay a professional graphic artist so they went with the solution they could afford, the $127 "Push the button and it's done" heap of garbage. Sorry to sound so critical but I just got one of those myself - FREE - from one of those Mega Giveaways that are all over the Net in December. I sure was glad I didn't pay $127 for it because even for free it's just a useless waste of space on my hard drive. It doesn't take two guesses to know why it's being given away. The Real question I want to ask you here is, "Do you think it would make any difference?" I mean, would a promotion with good looking, technically correct graphic images really make more sales than one that looks as rough as a dog's dinner? What do YOU think? Well I for one suspect that it probably makes a whole lot of difference, - I mean, how often would you hear someone say, "Hey, this promotion looks like crap - I just can't wait to buy the product!" Mmm... doesn't happen too often I would guess! Enough about that! Once you have this kit you'll never have to worry about the matter of amateurishly drawn misshapen images in your ads ever again. As a young man I studied technical drawing, often called "Drafting" for 4 years so I already had a grounding in graphics work.
